FORMER HEAD OF THE MINISTRY OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS AND SOCIAL SERVICES IN ISRAEL ADMITS THAT CHILDREN ARE REMOVED FROM HOMES DUE TO ECONOMIC INCENTIVE.

MINISTER OF WELFARE PROMISES TO LEGISLATE DEEP AND SWEEPING REFORM

TODAY'S MIRACLE #1: The Former Head of the Ministry of Social Affairs and
Social Services, Yossi Silman, took part in a recent expose about the fact that Social Workers *are* removing children from their homes for adoption and to institutions and foster homes under economic incentive. The business rolls over 1,300,000,000 (One Billion Three Hundred Million) NIS per year.

It's actually far more money than that. There are some 3000 ancillary businesses involved.

Silman said that, tentatively, he would say that of the 10,000 Israeli Children who are removed from their homes, half don't have to be.

The people interviewed, including Anthropologist Esther Herzog, spoke about the fact that the institutions, which are privately owned, have a full house policy and they alikened the problems with private institutions for children to private prisons, which the Supreme Court of Israel, wisely, disallowed.

The current Minister of Social Affairs and Social Services, Haim Katz, has promised to legislate sweeping changes in the policies of caring for Children in need.

A special word of Gratitude is extended to the Most Honorable Retired Judge, Chana ben Ami, who founded the Court for Family Affairs and worked in the District Court in Jerusalem. Upon retirement, she courageously spoke out and told the truth about Social Services and how they pressure and manipulate Judges and present false testimony routinely. She spoke about the quotas of Children for adoption that they are required to fulfill. Her support of our contentions is invaluable.
